Comcast is hiring an Engineer 3, Machine Learning in Chennai to design, develop, and deploy cutting-edge machine learning models that enhance personalization, search relevance, and customer engagement across its digital platforms. This role offers the opportunity to work on large-scale datasets, collaborate with global engineering teams, and deliver production-ready ML solutions that impact millions of users worldwide.
The ideal candidate should have 5–7 years of experience in developing, optimizing, and deploying ML models, with strong proficiency in Python, TensorFlow, and PyTorch.
Key Responsibilities:
🤖 Model Development & Optimization:
- Design, train, and evaluate ML models for personalized ranking, search, and recommendation systems.
- Translate business problems into machine learning solutions using modern frameworks and scalable data pipelines.
- Ensure models are accurate, reliable, and optimized for performance in production environments.
📊 Data Analysis & Experimentation:
- Analyze massive behavioral and product datasets to generate actionable insights.
- Develop and test hypotheses using A/B experiments to measure personalization impact.
- Partner with product and analytics teams to refine data-driven decision-making.
🚀 Production Integration & Collaboration:
- Collaborate with software engineers to deploy ML models into live systems with robustness and scalability in mind.
- Monitor model performance, retraining, and automation using MLflow and Airflow.
- Contribute to reusable pipelines and workflow automation for end-to-end ML delivery.
💡 Cross-Functional Partnership:
- Work with product managers, UX designers, and data scientists to align ML initiatives with user experience goals.
- Mentor junior engineers and foster a culture of experimentation and learning.
